November - Military Mind and Body

An introduction to Novembers theme of Military Mind and Body by Major Oliver O'Sullivan, DRN Committee Member, NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer and British Army Doctor

This month's theme for the Defence Research Network is the military mind and body, and I am delighted to be able to share some of the work being done across the Defence Medical Services research community exploring this.

Health is something we take for granted, especially when you are serving - the active nature of a military career means you are constantly on the go and required to be active. Throughout the month, I hope to bring you some innovative ways to help those after injury, and some perspectives of health experiences are not always considered.

I hope you enjoy this, and please engage with me, the authors and the wider DRN community to share your thoughts.
